Buffalo Place Research

Downtown Employees: The Downtown community had difficulty finding an estimate of Central Business District employment, with many official sources seeming too low or high due to their methodology. During completion of the 2016-2018 Downtown Access Study, staff realized there was sufficient information from recent parking accumulation reports and a Transportation Mode Survey Of Downtown Employees to make a reliable estimate. Weekday employment was estimated at 46,135, with full Downtown employment at 55, 362.
