28 Years of Bringing the Country Downtown

Buffalo Place Inc. is proud to announce The Downtown Country Market has officially opened for its 28th Anniversary season in Downtown Buffalo! The pre-season began on Thursday, May 20th, and the regular season will begin on Thursday, June 17th. The Downtown Country Market is a two-day, weekly, open-air farmer’s market located on both sides of Main Street between Court and Church Streets. From now through the end of October the Market will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Office workers, residents and visitors to Downtown are invited to browse the freshest produce and wares brought in daily from local farms, nurseries, bakers and specialty vendors. Shop for the family dinner at mid-day or add some baked goods and fresh fruit to your usual lunch routine. Or prepare your spring garden with beds of beautiful annuals and perrenials!
This year’s eclectic list of participants include Barb's Country Pies & Such, Canfield Farms, Capella Farms, Childs Blueberry Farm, Dan Tower Farm, Deb's Delights Homemade Canned Goods, FairyCakes Cupcakery, Grape Country Soaps, Hands & Paws, Inc., Hanzlian’s Homemade Sausage, Herbly Wondeful, Keeping Traditions, Kountry Kettle Korn, Peppermint Farms, Sanger Farms, Senek Farms, Schwab Farm, Szulis Florist & Greenhouse, Veggie's Veggies, Winter Farms and Yager Farms.
The Downtown Country Market is a member of The Pride of New York Program which promotes New York State products in partnership with its members, who take pride in growing, processing and selling a diverse range of food and agricultural products. All of the products offered at the Market are either grown or produced by each individual vendor. Get out and enjoy the beautiful summer season in Downtown at the Downtown Country Market!!
